The latest beta of TARS is now out and available for public testing. The new release is compatible with Teamspeak 3 RC2, which is the latest version of Teamspeak as of the time of this writing. TARS Version 1.0.1b6 features a completely redesigned sound system, which will support development of the additional planned features listed in the TARS Roadmap. I appreciate the community’s patience while this release was prepared and tested internally. And once again, thanks to everyone who donated much needed funding to the TARS project.
The intent of this release is to vet the new sound system for larger playercounts. There is still some adjustment to sound volume levels that may need to be performed. These adjustments will be made after I receive feedback from the community.
While this should go without saying, a few reminders are in order:
- Make sure you have Teamspeak 3 RC2 before installing the latest TARS beta.
- Uninstall your previous TARS software beforehand to eliminate the possibility of any conflicts.
- Make sure you have a compatible installation of DCS: A-10C or DCS: Black Shark.
